Skills You will Gain
Our comprehensive courses cover everything from basic yacht construction to advanced sailing techniques. By the end of the course, you will gain:
- Yacht construction:
- Knows basic yacht parts: cockpit, bilge, heads, galley, bow, stern, boom, mast, rigging, halyards.
- Can operate elementary yacht systems: toilet, gas oven, sink, shower.
- Can fill up water and diesel tanks.
- Can operate the inboard engine: start, switch off, check cooling system, and perform pre-start inspections.
- Line and spring handling:
- Can combine lines of various diameters.
- Can make essential knots: bowline, cleat fastening, fisherman bend, coil mooring lines.
- Handles mooring: hand over, take, fasten, and let go lines.
- Understands different mooring techniques.
